Private Golf lessons given by Minden Native, Blake Thomas. Lessons are open to anyone age 8 and up. ALL proceeds to benefit the Minden St. Jude Auction.

Blake Thomas is the PGA Director of Instruction at Monterey Peninsula Country Club. A Minden native, Blake started his instructional journey at Pine Hills Country Club and has served at courses in Louisiana, Virginia, South Carolina, Maryland, and currently in Pebble Beach, California. Blake has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the 2023-2024 Best Young Teachers in America,  one of the 2024-2025 Best Teachers in Maryland, one of the 2025-2026 Best Young Teachers in America, and most recently he was awarded the 2025 Monterey Bay Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year. Blake is also PGA Hope certified.
